6 BKL Leagues for 2023

This season see’s a return to BKL leagues being sailed in a range of fleet from across the regions.

707’s are to be sailed at both the Strathclyde University event in February and then again in the summer at the Royal Corinthian YC in Burnham. The summer league to be run by the Royal Northern & Clyde YC will also use Symmetrical spinnakers on their fleet of Sonars.

Asymmetrical kites will be used on the Marconi SC fleet of SB20’s on the river Blackwater in June and in August the popular RS21’s will be sailed at the league which is to be organised by Rutland SC. September sees a womens BKL league sailing J70’s at the Royal Southern YC, which is also the venue and class to be sailed for this years final at the end of September.

The BKL host clubs will be taking entries soon so keep a look out on BKL facebook page and we’ll signpost you to the NOR’s and online entry system as it goes live.

It’s going to be a great season for BKL league racing so don’t miss your change become the 2023 British Keelboat League Champions.
